Herbert R Thomas (HRT) recently announced the winners of its colouring competition at The Gnoll Park Summer Fun Days.
The Neath-based estate agent launched the competition after sponsoring the Gnoll Park Family Fun Days for the second year running.
The winners from age category two to four years was Robyn John from Port Talbot, the winner from age category five to seven was Dylan Lewis from Neath and Leah Richards from Neath won the prize for age category eight to ten years.
To enter, children simply had to colour in the HRT house template that was given to them at school or at a Gnoll Park Family Fun Day and hand it back to the company’s offices in Neath.
The winners have all won a family ticket to Wiggley’s Farm in Bridgend.
Earlier in the year, HRT announced its sponsorship of Gnoll Park Family Fun Days, which ran every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays.
HRT attended the events with a stand and team members were on hand to answer any property questions as well as hand out the colouring competition template.
Kellie Lewis, mother of Dylan Lewis, said: “Dylan is absolutely thrilled to have won the competition. He spent three days working on his entry and personally took it into HRT’s offices with his dad. He couldn’t wait to collect his prize and we’re sure we’ll all enjoy a family day out at Wiggley’s Farm. We’d like to thank HRT for running the competition – it’s great to see local companies supporting the community and it events.”
Carys Dean of HRT, said: “We had hundreds of entries and it made choosing just three winners very difficult but all three winners really showed a creative flair and attention to detail. We’re glad that they’re all thrilled to have won their prizes. We’ve also found out that the youngest winner, Robyn, recently cut off her long hair for charity, so the ticket will be an extra special treat for her and her family.
“It’s been great to sponsor Gnoll Park once again this year. The Fun Days really are a fantastic day out for all the family, and are ideal for keeping the children entertained during the summer holidays. It’s fantastic to see that so many people attended the events once again this year.
“For HRT, supporting the local community is extremely important. It’s fantastic to see that so many people attended the events once again this year.”
Simone Holmes, event organiser for the Summer Fun Days, said: “The events have been a huge success once again and we’ve been thrilled with the number of people that have attended. One week, we had over 950 cars as well as people who walked, which is fantastic!
“We try to ensure we have more rides and activities to ensure Gnoll Park gets better every year and we wouldn’t be able to do this and offer rides and activities for free without the support of local companies like HRT. It’s been great working closely with HRT once again. We look forward to seeing more people at the future events.”
