We’ve done it again!
We are celebrating another win after scooping a Welsh Business Award on Thursday 25th February at the National Museum Cardiff.
The Welsh Business Awards are organised by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, and are a celebration of the very best businesses, organisations and entrepreneurs across south Wales.
jamjar won the ‘Excellence in Marketing and Communications’ category for our integrated marketing and communications campaign for Pedalcover Insurance.
Our campaign launched Pedalcover in a crowded marketplace, and established them as the go-to insurance provider for cyclists and triathletes.
It has already received industry recognition, as the campaign was awarded a Canmol award by the Chartered Institute of Marketing at the end of 2015.
The judges felt that the Pedalcover campaign was exemplary in its planning, execution and results, with the business successfully identifying the particular marketing methods that would resonate with its target audience.
On accepting the award, jamjar’s founder Lyndsey Jenkins, said: “As a very young company, we have worked hard to stand out in a competitive marketplace where many PR agencies in Wales have been established for years.
“This award recognises our creative approach to the Pedalcover campaign, but also our ability to contribute to the communications landscape in Wales; we’re really thrilled to receive it.”
Keith Palmer, chief executive of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, said “All of the winners have shown an unflinching commitment to driving their businesses successfully over the last year.
“All of the 36 businesses that made the shortlist, as well as those who have been crowned winners, should be proud of their achievements in 2015, as they have not only strengthened the local economic landscape, but demonstrated that Wales is a true contender in a global marketplace.”
This is the latest award win for jamjar having been awarded a Canmol award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year’ for three consecutive years from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
