jamjar PR has been shortlisted for four awards including ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year’ at the 2014 CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards.
The Cowbridge-based agency has been recognised for its outstanding achievements, performance and excellent work at the annual UK-wide awards scheme that rewards excellence in public relations and communications work.
jamjar PR’s work for the Welsh Government’s public transport information service, Traveline Cymru, and award-winning law firm, Watkins & Gunn Solicitors, has been recognised in three categories – Corporate and Business Communications Campaign, Not-for-profit Campaign and Integrated Campaign.
Despite only being established in 2012, for a second year in a row, jamjar PR has been shortlisted for one of the top awards – ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year’ – after bringing the gold award home in this category in 2013.
The shortlisting comes as jamjar PR’s founder Lyndsey Jenkins is recognised by the Western Mail as one of a new generation of young businesswomen making their mark on Wales. She said: “We work extremely hard to deliver cost-effective, creative communications solutions to our clients that make a tangible difference to their business, so it is great that our efforts for Traveline Cymru and Watkins & Gunn Solicitors have been recognised.
“I’m really proud of what we have been able to achieve at jamjar PR over the past two years, and to be shortlisted for these awards is credit to my fantastic team and their continued hard work.
“We’re looking forward to the celebrations in October.”
