The Cowbridge-based agency has been recognised for its outstanding achievements, performance and excellent work since it was established in April 2012 by award-winning PR practitioner Lyndsey Jenkins.
jamjar PR’s work for the four-star Radisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff has also been recognised and shortlisted in three other award categories – Corporate and Business Communications Campaign, Low Budget Campaign and Consumer Campaign.
Last year, over 190 people attended the awards dinner at Cardiff’s Hilton Hotel, which will once again host this year’s annual celebration of public relations talent from across the nation.
Commenting on this year’s shortlist announcement, the chair of CIPR Cymru Val Bodden MCIPR said: “The CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards celebrate the very best in public relations from across our region. This year’s entries were all of an incredibly high standard, highlighting the industry leading work that is taking place right here in Wales. I would like to congratulate all of those who have been shortlisted for an award; their success demonstrates their exemplary achievements in such a thriving profession, and recognises the impact they have made in their region and beyond.”
Since it was established last year, jamjar PR has built up an impressive reputation for delivering creative, multi-platform communication campaigns to clients including Brewin Dolphin, COS Group, Radisson Blu Hotel, Traveline Cymru, Greenaway Scott and Watkins & Gunn Solicitors. In the last three months, the agency has taken on new office space in Cowbridge and recruited Senior PR and Social Media Executive Jodie Phillips.
Commenting on the shortlist, managing director, Lyndsey Jenkins said: “Over the past year, I have worked hard to establish a strong brand and client base for jamjar PR and I’m really proud that the agency has been shortlisted for such a top award despite still being in our infancy.
“We also work extremely hard to deliver cost-effective, creative communications solutions to our clients that make a tangible difference to their business, so it is great that our efforts for the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff are also recognised.
“We look forward to the awards dinner in October and on continuing to grow and improve jamjar PR to the benefit of our clients.”
