We are very pleased to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for a Welsh Business Award 2016 by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce.
We have been nominated in the ‘Excellence in Marketing and Communications’ category for our integrated marketing and communications campaign for Pedalcover Insurance.
Our campaign aimed to launch Pedalcover in a crowded marketplace, and established them as the go-to insurance provider for cyclists and triathletes. It has already received industry recognition, as the campaign was awarded a Canmol award by the Chartered Institute of Marketing at the end of 2015.
jamjar’s founder and director, Lyndsey Jenkins said: “The Welsh Business Awards recognise the very best from businesses across Wales, as well as celebrate success, excellence in best practice and the contribution Welsh businesses make to the wider community – so we are thrilled to have been shortlisted for this award. It has been a fantastic start to the year.
“We loved working with Pedalcover on this campaign, and are thrilled that they have had such a successful first year. We are pleased to have our hard work and ideas recognised, and we are looking forward to the awards later this month.”
In its fourteenth consecutive year, the Welsh Business Awards, sponsored by the University of South Wales, will take place on Thursday 25 February at the National Museum of Wales. The event will be hosted by former Blue Peter presenter, TV host Gethin Jones.
Keith Palmer, chief executive of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Awards celebrate the very best of business in Wales and provide an opportunity to showcase their work, services and products, all of which are contributing to a growing Welsh economy.
“The Awards are a really significant date in our calendar year as we believe it is vital to recognise the achievements of Wales’ leading businesses and, as a Chamber, we will continue to actively support all entrants as they look to further expand their business, both inside and outside of the UK’s borders.”
