We took on some lovely new clients – Cwm Taf University Health Board, Cardiff University, Le Gros Solicitors and EST Accountants and had lots of exciting news to share from those we already work with.
We worked with Sport Wales on a series of short films promoting female rugby, in light of the RBS Six Nations. The results showed how rugby has changed the lives of so many women across Wales for the better.
We celebrated International Women’s Day on the 8th of March with a bit of girl power! We hosted a female empowerment workshop at the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel with RESOLVE it. The workshop covered key personal safety tips and self-defence tactics and we all walked away with improved inner self confidence.
We attended the ‘uber glam’ Cardiff Life Awards at City Hall on the 17th March where our clients Mrs Bucket, Hare and Hounds, Pedalcover and Wynne-Jones IP all received acclaim. Congratulations to all of the winners, let’s keep making Cardiff great.
From the 14th – 18th March, Educ8 celebrated National Apprenticeship Week with an aim of raising awareness of the benefits of apprenticeships to both potential apprentices and employers. Managing Director, Grant Santos had a pretty busy week visiting schools and employers to talk about apprenticeships and hosting open days at Educ8’s offices.
Watkins & Gunn Solicitors launched a series of seminars aimed at providing an introduction to UK law for Polish residents living in Wales. The seminars will feature information on employment rights, wills, personal injury, moving home, traffic offences and many other legal matters to further attendees’ understanding of UK law.
The Easter bunny was spotted helping with Cardiff Bus’ Easter eggstravaganza giveaway by treating its customers to chocolate eggs at bus stops in the city centre and on its services. This is the latest giveaway by the bus operator having previously celebrated Random Acts of Kindness day by giving away prizes including theatre tickets, hotel vouchers, rugby tickets and bouquets of flowers to Cardiff Bus customers.
